Using DiskSavvy GUI Layouts

In order to improve GUI usability, the DiskSavvy main GUI application provides three user-selectable GUI layouts. Press the 'Layouts' button or select the menu item 'Tools - Switch GUI Layout' to switch the GUI application to the next GUI layout.

DiskSavvy Standard GUI Layout

The default GUI layout displays large toolbar buttons with descriptive text labels under each button and shows the left side-bar and shows the bottom file categories and filters views. The second GUI layout displays small toolbar buttons with descriptive text labels beside each button and hides the left side-bar.

DiskSavvy Mini GUI Layout

The third GUI layout displays small toolbar buttons without descriptive text labels and hides the left side-bar and hides the bottom file categories and file filters making it a truly minimalist GUI layout.

DiskSavvy v17.8 improves the side-bar disk space monitoring and disk performance monitoring tool views, improves the disk space analysis results dialog, improves the file disk space analysis comparison reports. In addition, the new product version improves the main DiskSavvy GUI application, improves the DiskSavvy Server product version and fixes a number of bugs.

DiskSavvy v17.7 adds pie charts to the consolidated PDF disk space analysis reports and adds the ability to set custom true-type fonts for all types of PDF reports allowing one to better support international character sets. In addition, the new product version improves the main DiskSavvy GUI application, improves the options dialog and fixes a number of bugs.
